Über den Autor
Volker Caspari is Professor emeritus of Economics at Technical University Darmstadt (Germany) and currently holds the position of Goethe Teaching Professor of Economics at Goethe-University Frankfurt since 2019. Previously, he served as Theodor-Heuss Lecturer at the New School University in New York. With his extensive expertise, he actively contributes to the field as Member of the Verein für Socialpolitik (VfS) in Germany, where he chaired the committee for the History of Economics from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, he is Founding Member of the German Keynes Society. His research focuses on growth and long-run development, macroeconomics, and the history of economic thought.
