Über den Autor
Richard Wagner (1813-1833) was a German composer, conductor, and theatre director. Known for his revolutionary concept 'Gesamtkunstwerk', meaning a total work of art, he was one of the only opera composers to write both the music and the libretto for his productions. His most celebrated work is the four-opera cycle 'The Ring of the Nibelung' (1876).
