Beschreibung
Pronomianism is a pro-law approach to Scripture that sees the Torah, or the Law of Moses, as relevant and authoritative in Christian life. Rather than rejecting the Torah, as Antinomianism does, Pronomianism embraces it as a vital part of following Jesus. It affirms that God's commandments remain meaningful for believers and continue to shape how individuals live, worship, and understand their identity as followers of the Messiah.
This collection of essays brings Christian and Messianic Jewish scholars together to explore the theological, historical, and practical implications of a pro-Torah faith. The essays focus on a range of topics from Sabbath observance and dietary instructions to the continuity of God's covenants and the interpretation of key New Testament passages. Each chapter challenges common Antinomian assumptions, urging readers to develop a deeper understanding of how the Law of Moses informs Christian life.
