Beschreibung
Vicki Vance traveled to Tanzania in early 1973 to visit her sister Valerie for six weeks. Valerie was the Food and Beverage Manager at Fort Ikoma Lodge in the Serengeti. That six-week excursion evolved into a yearlong stay. In this memoir, she describes the daily happenings and unanticipated adventures she was fortunate to experience. Equally memorable were the many people she met and the lifelong friendships she made. And most cherished of all, the time spent with her older sister and to whom she is forever grateful.
