Jean Molitor was born in Berlin in 1960 and studied Artistic Photography
at the Leipzig Academy of Graphics with Arno Fischer. He has been a freelance photographer for magazines, newspapers and industry since 1994. For German television, he has produced features in
Venezuela and Havana as well as a report on the Peking to Paris motor race. In 2009 he started his project bau1haus and today he continues to work on it, travelling through Africa, North and South America, Europa and the Middle East.
