Beschreibung
With the publication of her second book of poems, Morrissey's poetic landscape grows more diverse, encompassing the Orient, the Antipodes, America, and Ireland. Searching for tranquility and grace, the poet find only colorful spiritual barrenness and cultural reality at her destinations. These poems also reflect the poet's political anger upon returning to her native Northern Ireland. Fitted with visually sharp wit and unusual rhythms of speech, this collection of poems seeks out grace in a time of cultural waste.
