After many years as a steel-string guitarist, Ulli Bögershausen has rediscovered the beauty of sound of the concert guitar for himself. For this edition, he has arranged eight pieces of classical music. The famous arias and concert pieces by Handel, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms are joined by two lesser-known titles by the composers Paul Ladmirault (1877-1944) and Peter Warlock (1894-1930), which unfortunately do not enjoy the attention that at least the two enchanting melodies I selected would have deserved. The simple but very beautiful theme of the Minuet in A minor by Johann Krieger was further developed by Ulli Bögershausen.
