Beschreibung
Ambrosi, A Colour Compendium of Grape Varieties. This book describes and illustrates the 300 most important grape varieties in the 60 most important grape-growing countries of the world. Their origins, distribution, characteristics and the character of the wine or table grapes are all discussed. Especially interesting for wine-lovers, too, are the many synonyms: for example, not everyone knows that Gutedel, Chasselas and Fendant are all the same.
