Martin Struck was born in the countryside of Mecklenburg in northern Germany and also grew up in this region. During his studies, he spent several years in the greater Berlin area, from where he set off to stays in predominantly anglophone countries, before ultimately returning to Germany. This collection of poems is his first book, which he wrote during this period.
