Beschreibung
'A fast-moving, riveting read, with characters convincingly brought to life by a gifted storyteller who has the insight of a journalist.' -Divya Gopalan, international broadcaster and host of Connected, TaiwanPlus

'A genre-defying novel that takes readers on a cinematic journey . . .think Black Mirror meets Cloud Atlas, as told by Netflix.' -Nick Spicer, foreign correspondent

'From London and the Marshall Islands to Sabah and Manila, Ortigas' ambitious new novel is an urgent call to action . . .' -Gabi Francisco, ExLibris Philippines

A gripping tale of loss, betrayal, and redemption set across the porous maritime borders of Southeast Asia and the remote islands of the Pacific

In God's Ashes, an archipelago of displaced characters-refugees, dissidents, and indigents-converge in an unseen transnational crime.

Years later, their hard-won, reshaped identities threaten to crumble when one among them disappears.

The ensuing search could upend the existing world order.
