Beschreibung
"Heart Attack for Gourmets" by Volodymyr Vakulenko-K. is not just a novel - it's a literary feast. Written in 13 bold, thought-provoking chapters, this book challenges conventional storytelling with a daring fusion of postmodernism, irony, and poetic experimentation.
The novel was awarded - International Literary Prize. Olesya Ulyanenko in 2012!

Set in the shadow of political unrest and cultural upheaval in Ukraine, the narrative serves up a surreal menu of themes: identity, resistance, absurdity, and the fragility of life. Vakulenko-K., an award-winning Ukrainian writer and human rights activist, transforms his personal experiences and national traumas into a powerful, fragmented, and unforgettable reading experience.
Whether you're a lover of avant-garde literature or simply hungry for a fresh voice in Eastern European fiction, "Heart Attack for Gourmets" will intrigue, provoke, and linger in your mind long after the final page.
A surreal, genre-defying novel from Ukraine's most fearless literary voice.
Heart Attack for Gourmets blends poetry, politics, and postmodernism in a sharp, layered narrative about identity, resistance, and absurdity. A must-read for fans of avant-garde fiction and courageous literature born in times of crisis.
Why You'll Love This Book: A literary gourmet's delight - A bold, experimental novel that blends poetry, politics, and dark humor.
A voice from Ukraine - Deep insight into Ukrainian identity, post-Soviet transformation, and cultural resistance.
Intellectual stimulation - Perfect for readers who crave postmodernism, metafiction, and philosophical reflection.
Written by a fighter - Authored by a dissident poet who dared to resist tyranny - and paid the ultimate price.
For readers of Bolaño, Pynchon, and Beckett - Complex, layered, and laced with irony and symbolism.

Don't miss this genre-defying novel from a fearless Ukrainian voice silenced too soon. Let it challenge your mind - and stir your soul.
