What does it mean to truly live in union with Christ-not outwardly, but inwardly?

In Intimacy with Christ, the timeless letters of Jeanne Guyon speak directly to believers seeking a deeper spiritual life. Written as personal counsel to fellow Christians, these reflections offer profound yet simple guidance on surrender, prayer, suffering, humility, and the inward work of God in the soul.

Modernized into accessible English, these writings remain deeply devotional while addressing the central question of Christian maturity: how to allow Christ to reign within the heart.

In this book, you will discover:

¿ Practical counsel on surrendering fully to God's will
¿ Insight into inward prayer and spiritual quietness
¿ Encouragement for seasons of trial, dryness, and discouragement
¿ Wisdom on humility, suffering, and dying to self
¿ Guidance for walking with Christ moment by moment

Guyon's letters are gentle yet searching, simple yet profound. They call readers away from external religion into a living relationship with Christ centered in the heart.

For readers of Christian classics and those seeking spiritual depth, this collection remains a powerful invitation into the quiet life of faith.

Über den Autor
Jeanne Guyon was born in south-central France in the mid-1600s. Her writings and her ministry knew a brief period of popularity, making her a friend even of the wife of Louis XIV. She greatly influenced the life of Fenelon, one of the two most famous clergymen in France's history and she earned the wrath of the other, Bosuet. The conflict between these two giants over her teachings led to her disgrace in the king's court and then her imprisonment. Three hundred years later she is still one of the most influential people in the lives of those who seek a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
