Beschreibung
Trazeci svoje mesto u drustvu posle kratkog i neuspesnog braka, suocena sa konzervativnim shvatanjima patrijarhalne sredine, mlada pravnica, svojom dobrotom, neznim osecanjima i plemenitoscu, polako krci put ka sopstvenoj sreci.
-----
Ranjeni orao (The Wounded Eagle) is MirJam's beloved classic about a love tested by pride and rumor. Andjelka, luminous and independent, and Ljubomir, a capable officer with a fiercely guarded sense of honor, fall for each other at the wrong moment-and then must learn what forgiveness requires. MirJam's gift is moral clarity without moralism: ballrooms and train platforms, letters folded and refolded, a world alive with talk and judgment where character is both shield and wound. Readers who love sweeping, characterfirst romance with a strong sense of time and place will find a perennial favorite here.
