Patricia Allmer is a leading scholar of surrealism and senior lecturer in art history at the University of Edinburgh. Her books include René Magritte: Beyond Painting and Lee Miller: Photography, Surrealism, and Beyond, and she has curated major exhibitions such as Angels of Anarchy: Women Artists and Surrealism.
