Beschreibung
For undergraduate courses in statics and mechanics of materials A proven approach to improving conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills Statics and Mechanics of Materials, 6th Edition in SI Units, combines two of the authors bestselling texts, Engineering Mechanics: Statics and Mechanics of Materials, with a firm focus on concepts that are commonly encountered in engineering practice. This text features a thorough presentation of the theory and applications of the most fundamental topics of these two important branches of mechanics. It empowers students to succeed by drawing upon Professor Hibbeler's decades of classroom experience and knowledge of how students learn. The text is shaped by the suggestions of hundreds of peer reviewers and many of his students.
