Beschreibung
A search ties together some seemingly unrelated people from around the world: a group of young friends from Italy and Spain, a wandering troubadour in Afghanistan, a merchant lost in a desert sand-storm, a professor and his students in Mexico and a tango aficionado in Argentina. But what unites them? What are they looking for? Six stories, each offering glimpses of, or evoking the spirit of a central character, Alfredo O. who is able to bring about a turning point in the existential journey, and in the search, of the protagonists.

Alfredo O. is a Master who as the author in the introduction states is: "the channel of communication for the connection of friendship between Man and God. The search for God by Man is equivalent to the relationship between the searcher and his guide. The relationship of love and friendship between the master and his disciple mirrors the same ties of friendship between Man and God, because there is no difference between human and divine love and the acceptance of the Master is the nearest thing to the acceptance of the Divine."
