The truth is if you do not perform your functions as a leader, then you are not a leader. You can be called a team leader, but you are not a true leader. You can be called a minister, but you are not a leader. You can have the position of a CEO or Director, but you are not a leader. Leadership is not about titles and positions; leadership is about effectively carrying out your leadership functions. This book aims at highlighting leadership deficiencies and providing solutions to combat those problems. More than 15 years of learning about and leading people of different cultures, calibres, backgrounds, and countries, has taught me why it is important for our generation to understand what effective leadership is.
