Über den Autor

Giovanni Solimeno, MD, is a vascular and endovascular surgeon based in Naples, Italy. In addition to his clinical activity, he is actively engaged in the study of surgical sciences, medical technology, and philosophy. Over the years, he has developed a deep interest in surgical education, as well as in the literacy and democratization of specialized medical knowledge.

He is the founder of VasculHub (@VasculHub), a digital platform dedicated to vascular innovation and public education. Through this initiative, and through his broader work, Dr. Solimeno promotes a new model of medical communication - one that blends scientific rigor with clarity, accessibility, and a forward-looking use of digital media.

This book reflects his belief that much of what truly matters in endovascular surgery resides not only in textbooks, but in lived experience - often passed down informally, or held in the private notebooks of senior surgeons. By sharing these insights openly, he hopes to foster a culture of transparency and mentorship, where practical wisdom becomes part of collective progress.
