Stevie Snickerdoodle is 9-year-old autistic boy who is young enough to believe in magic, but old enough to wonder if it's real. His African adventure starts by accident when he is transported to the Kalahari desert where he lands at a meerkat family's den and becomes one of them, doing all the things meerkats do daily. Über den Autor

Hester educates through storytelling, using the magic of informal narratives to reach young readers. Her expertise is in personalised learning styles which are focused on second language special needs and neurodivergence. She holds a PhD in this field. Being a child of Africa, all Hester's works contain an African element to enhance the learning process. She currently lives in Australia where she writes children's books for neurodivergent readers and historical fiction for adults.
